Here&#8217;s the variables we&#8217;re working with:<\/p>\n<p>I<sub>D<\/sub> , <em>i<\/em><sub>D<\/sub> , <em>i<\/em><sub>d<\/sub><br \/>\nV<sub>GS<\/sub> , <em>v<\/em><sub>GS<\/sub> , <em>v<\/em><sub>gs<\/sub><\/p>\n<p>They all mean different things, and they all look identical in Prof. Jiang&#8217;s handwriting.
